“Eclosion & Delights”
Collection created for P&B Textiles contest.
Brief :
Design a fabric collection in a tossed / all-over repeat style, suitable for quilting. The collection should include a main print, coordinates, and blender patterns. Each element must be versatile and visually engaging from multiple directions, with a gentle, painterly feel, and a cohesive color palette.
Collection concept :
Éclosion & Delights is a collection about awakening beauty, gentle beginnings, and the joyful details we often overlook. It’s a tribute to what quietly blooms and what delights the eye, without ever shouting.
The main print features delicate florals and leaves in an expressive tossed composition, painted in watercolor and pencil textures.
The coordinates include soft line drawings, botanical silhouettes and rhythmic clusters to support the hero design.
The blenders provide balance and light, with minimal, hand-drawn textures designed to bring cohesion and flow to any quilt.
Each pattern was designed to be playful, yet refined, ideal for quilters who seek emotion, calmness and subtle whimsyin their fabric choices.
Painted by hand and digitized with care, this collection reflects my belief that pattern design is a way to offer softness to the world, one thread at a time.
